Busy Monday: May Giveaway Day!!!

Good Morning kid giddy readers! It's May giveaway day! Are you excited? So am I!!! Every year I have found out about this Sew Mama Sew giveaway day...the day after, and therefore couldn't participate! It was always such a bummer...but this year - I'm on the ball and I've got a giveaway for you!

I'm done asking people to "follow my blog" just to be able to enter. I don't think that makes for a true follower! I've had my followers number go up by one or two only to have the number go down by the same amount a day or two later. I think people just follow for the sake of getting a freebie and then are no more loyal than before they found your blog. I'm not pessimistic, it's just reality! lol! Don't get me wrong - I would love more followers because who ever in their right mind wants to feel as if they are talking to a wall?...so if you feel so inspired - click the button - it would be much appreciated to get to know all you fellow crafters and likers of my work!

So - for this giveaway, your entry fee is to answer the following 2 part question...(in an effort to update my blog)....

What do you like most about my blog and is there anything you would change if it were yours?!

Only 1 additional entry will be accepted if you....
ReTweet about my giveaway, with @kidgiddyetsy attached to your tweet.

If you are the lucky randomly chosen winner...this is what you will get....1 little doll that measures about 8" tall in a handmade sweet baby blue blanket with little white lambs dancing through the grass. Perfect for a little girl or boy ready to share some love! The removable outfit is purple, and the eyes are blue, but I do have one with brown eyes. So you can request the blue or the brown eyes...in your comment (more baby doll sets will be available in my etsy shop soon!) This doll is ready for some baby cuddles and play time.
The lucky winner will also get (1) 14x14 kid sized pillow with 2 handmade envelope pillow covers! My girls started using these perfectly sized pillows for bed time when they were about 2 years old. They are 8 and 6.5 now and still use them since adult pillows are just too big! They are a great size for traveling and for snuggling up between mommy and daddy on Saturday morning! These prints are both fairies. If you would prefer a boy print - let me know and I'll see what I've got in stock!
Please let me know if you have any questions...Good luck and thanks for visiting my blog and entering my giveaway!

This giveaway will end at 11:59pm EST on May 26th. One correct answer winner will be chosen at random. I will contact the winner via email so please be sure to leave your email in the comments below! The winner will be announced on Saturday May 28th.

So sweet! What a great first baby doll this would be for my little granddaughter and her first birthday is coming up in July. I think your blog looks fine. The only thing I might move down and out of the way is the "Labels" section to the left there.

I love the variety of projects you post about. I am probably not the one to ask advice from since I am quite new to blogging myself. I guess I would say the look is a little white for me, but then that is just me.

I have 3 girls we can't get enough dolls. I like the width of your columns. I think the white background with color all around is nice too. I wish I knew how to make mine look so professional

I love the title and banner art at the top. I wouldn't know what to change... Would love the doll for my 3yr old son! We are expecting in July. Would be nice for him to have a baby too!

What I like best about your blog is the edible Wednesdays, and what I would change is to add a link to all of them in the header.
And I love the turtle in your header!

I like the variety of your posts, not just the same thing all the time. I find the white background with the sidebars a little cluttered... a fun new background and layout might help.

I love this baby doll! It's for me. My girl is too old for dolls so that's good. I would love blue eyes. The only thing I can say about your blog is it's a little busy. A lot of stuff at the side bars. But I'm guilty of that as well.

I'm a newcomer here! I just discovered your blog after you visited mine via Blog Frog!! So... Blog Frog is a GOOD thing!!! I've enjoyed reading your posts and am really excited to have found you. I will definitely be following you. What would I change??? Maybe put all the ways to follow you in one spot (GFC, Networked Blogs, Facebook, etc.)???
Thanks for the giveaway!! My little girl would love the blue eyed baby!!!

I really like your blog. I'm not a follower but I come back over and over so I should probably just go ahead and follow you :) I think there's a lot going on in the sidebars of your blog and it gets a little distracting.

Ah ! Too much cuteness :) <3 I would pick the brown eyed doll and girly is lovely !!
Your blog is very nice! I would say something to change? The first thing I look at on a blog is the top menu with the categories... I look for the about, and for the list of tutorials or projects... I love the categories. So maybe some more of those!
Thanks for the chance!

I'm a blog rookie so I think your blog is splendid! I wish mine would look like yours!

I think your blog looks great -- I might suggest adding a tab at the top for tutorials. That's what a lot of people look for in a new blog, I think. Thanks for the giveaway! My littlest one would LOVE it.

I don't have time or energy to pour into blogging myself, but I LOVE that other people are so willing to share their good ideas with people like me. I like that it is easy to read and well laid out. I might not have so much on the side bars, maybe you could create tabs for some of those things. Hope you keep up the nice work, I enjoy the things I found on your blog.

Super fun! Your mini tent is AMAZING!!! And your Scrappy Owl tutorial? SO CUTE!!!! jinglesells at gmail dot com

I love your colour scheme, and that you have your tutorials at the top of your page. But I find it a bit cluttered, with all the info in the sidebar. I like my blog to be a bit more minimalist (if only I could achieve that in real life). I'd love a little blue eyed doll, what a fantastic giveaway.

I like your blog suggestions would be to make it a little bit more modern and less cluttered too many ads and tabs

As a new visitor to your blog I don't feel I have the right to say anything about what is wrong with it but I will say it is a site I want to spend more time at and I love the pictures on the side. They make me want to look around.
Would love to win the doll.

I really like the look of your blog. I myself struggle to be happy with the way my blog looks too. I like the tutorial pictures down the side.

First thing that struck me was your idea for thumb sucking...that's a great solution! I also enjoyed the tutorials and I'd like to make that little seahorse. The giveaway prize is very generous wow! I have a niece in mind. Thank-you for sharing.

Your header is gorgeous! I think you should move the link for your Etsy up a bit, though, to a more prominent place. Maybe underneat the tutorials? It's a wonderful giveaway. Thank you so much!

alioop said... [Reply]

Hi! I think there is too much clutter on the left and right, you should really highlight what is most important to you. :)

Djaj said... [Reply]

I just like your blog like it is !
I wuld not want to change anything, it would no longer be your place then !
Thanks for the chance !

All I want for this blog is for it to be MINE! Alas, I was never good with anything that requires patience, sewing and threads. Args! My bad. But everything that's in here reminds me why I love being a mom, being a woman, being at home and doing what I love most doing. Still, I'd love this blog to be MINE. :) You're super, Kerry! really!
