Sew a Teal Pumpkin Paper Pieced Banner

I had so much fun creating this #TealPumpkinBanner for Bernina using the Electric Quilt Company #EQ8 program. I have lived gluten free for the past 5 years and it has opened my eyes (and my heart) to the struggles many food allergy sufferers go through on a regular basis.

The Teal Pumpkin Project is part of a great organization that helps bring awareness to food allergies and sensitivities. I thought this would be a fun way to show your trick or treaters that you care and can provide them with safe "non-food" options. If you want to sew up your own Teal Pumpkin Banner - you can find the free pattern and tutorial over on the Bernina USA We All Sew website.

Want to find out how to  Learn to Design and Sew Foundation Paper Piecing? You can find my ebook in my Kid Giddy Etsy shop and once you've mastered those techniques, you can also grab the EQ8 program from the Electric Quilt website and convert the lessons into the EQ8 program. Don't forget to use the code "EQ8KIDGIDDY" to save 20% off your purchases on the Electric Quilt website. They also offer one new fabric "stash" collection each month! So head on over and add some stash downloads to your EQ fabric library too.

For more information about the Teal Pumpkin Project, please visit them at FoodAllergy.org. Thank you so much to Highland Farm for allowing me to roam around the pumpkin greenhouse (with mask on) to photograph my banner!

Thanks so much for visiting! Please be sure to sign up for my newsletter below...I've got some crazy fun holiday patterns coming in November and you won't want to miss out on the amazing savings!
