My favorite toy that comes to mind was Koaly, it's a stuffed koala bear that I slept with all my childhood. It was made from the bottom of a dish detergent bottle, and with a crocheted edge covering the hard plastic edge. I carried that thing with my everywhere. I got the first floor one year and the second the next. It had beautiful handmade furniture and the walls had the same wallpaper as my grandparents own home. She sewed the whole thing and even made the doll some clothes! I loved it because it was handmade and from one of the people I'm closest to.
