My favorite toy that comes to mind was Koaly, it's a stuffed koala bear that I slept with all my childhood. I had a handmade cabbage patch kid when they were hot in the 80s. Pretty close to the real ones!
I had a stuffed dog, named Ruffy! Not sure who I got it from, though!
I have a stuffed monkey from my childhood named mr monkey. My mom made it, and I loved him. Now, my daughter gets to love him.
I was given by my great grandmother, a little miniature bassinet with a tiny plastic baby in it. It was made from the bottom of a dish detergent bottle, and with a crocheted edge covering the hard plastic edge. I carried that thing with my everywhere. I have it now, retired to the shelf in my quilt room watching over all the chaos :)
My favorite toy as a child was my FP Lolly Doll.
My favorite toy as a kid was a giant teddy bear I named Kevin.
Mine us a white teddy, named Snuggles, that my uncle bought be when I was 2. I still have him almost 30 years later, though he's missing an eye now.
i was given a doll when my baby brother was born - i named her Morgan Mary (which would have been his name if he'd been a girl), and she went with me everywhere for YEARS.
I received a beautiful blond china doll. She was perfect. I accidently dropped her the next day and her face broke...
My mom made me a devil doll when I was around 6 years old. It had long blonde braids & blue eyes like me. I took her everywhere.

My grandparents made me a dollhouse when I was eight. It was big enough for my Betsy McCall and Barbie dolls and my Madame Alexander LittleWomen often visited. I got the first floor one year and the second the next. It had beautiful handmade furniture and the walls had the same wallpaper as my grandparents own home. I still have it and my grandchildren love it.
I remember a doll with elastic straps on her feet so I can strap her on and dance with her!

My grandmother and I worked together to make a stuffed squirrel. I still have it, and it is one of my children's favorite stuffed animals. <3
One Christmas when I was about 8, I was given a 2 foot baby doll. I sure did love her.

My favorite toy growing up was my doll "baby B" I loved her even up to middle school, her hair was so ratty by then! Her eyes would close when she laid down, and I carried her everywhere when I was young! mrscwatson81@hotmail.com

I remember one of my favorite toys was when I was really young was a Raggedy Ann doll. I would sleep with it in my bed.

My favorite toy was a crib for my dolls. My granny sewed the sheets and blankets for it.
My mom made me this red bear, with jointed limbs and everything. I LOVED that bear and we actually still have it.

I had lots of handmade toys but one year, my big sister sanded wood scraps from my dad's wood working and gave me a custom set of blocks. I really like that she took all that time for her kid sister.
I had a stuffed beaver from when I was born. I loved that thing, and love that it was such an odd animal to get as a baby.

I had a lot of toys that I loved growing up, but while reading this post I was reminded of a doll that my grandmother made for me when I was young! She sewed the whole thing and even made the doll some clothes! I loved it because it was handmade and from one of the people I'm closest to. She also made it so that it had similar features to me -- brown hair and brown eyes!
I got 2 barbies from a cousin one year. not sure why that's always been burned into my brain, but I remember being sooooo excited
My Dad gave me a vintage metal dollhouse that is gorgeous. I never had any dolls that were small enough to play with it though until I got much older....
